28 golfers made up the fourteen TEEforeTWO pairs teams taking part in a Charity Day in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust at the Berkshire Golf Club. Playing in pairs, none of the TEEforeTWO Teams won the major prizes, however, Jonathan Ashworth from www.findthefairways.com did win the longest drive, and a dozen TEEforeTWO logoed Srixon golf balls!
Competition was tough; we played the red course, 6-par 3's, 6-par 4's and 5-par 5's. Three Professionals from the European Tour, Bob Cameron, Craig Defoy and Kevin Spurgeon also took part!
Shotgun start at 09.00 a.m, warm sunshine, a golf course that was a privilege to play, and a fitting end to the season.
The legendary Berkshire lunch followed in the Members' Dining Room and afterwards, the prize giving and charity auction.
The whole day raised a little over £5000 for the CF Trust. Thank you to all who attended!
Our next event is the PGA lunch at the Grosvenor House on 18th December.
