The Swan Inn, Denham, 7th February
We recently sent out an email suggesting that Members might like to organise a lunch or a supper during the Winter months whilst the weather is so miserable and golf not an option. Several of you have been very brave and jumped into the arena - Thankyou!
The second lunch today was extremely enjoyable - fewer of us but really nice to be able to talk to everyone and get to know each other off the golf course! The Swan Inn, Denham is absolutely charming and the food delicious - thank you Joyce for organising this!
Hopefully this will become something that all of you might like to participate in and organise in your own areas - be it for a lunch, supper, possibly a barbecue in the Summer. If any of you would like to hold your hands up and volunteer, please could you email events@teeforetwo.co.uk so that we can ensure that there are events organised at regular intervals throughout the year. Or possibly, just during the Winter months which is the original idea behind this.
The next "event" is dinner and disco for Valentines on February 13th at Broke Hill Golf Club (Junction 4/M25), then supper at The Hollybrook Inn, Littleover, Derby on February 25th, followed by another lunch at the end of March on the 28th at The Portland Arms, St Albans.
