In 1786, a group of eleven gentlemen met at the Golf Inn in Crail and together formed the Crail Golfing Society.

In 1895 golfing legend Old Tom Morris laid out a 9-hole course which was extended just four years later. The course was named Balcomie Links, and has come to be recognised as one of Scotland's classics.

Registration: from 1.00pm

1st Tee: from 2.10.pm. Mixed fourballs

Golf will be followed by Dinner and prizegiving in the Clubhouse.

Sunday, 19th September

In 1998, Craighead was added to the Golfing Society, and has fast become a modern links classic. With panoramic seascapes, it is a perfect compliment to its older brother, Balcomie.

Registration: from 9.30am

1st Tee: from 10.30 am. Mixed fourballs.

Golf will be followed by prizegiving and dinner at the Inn at Lathones.

We have booked 16 rooms at the Inn at Lathones which is within easy driving distance of all three courses.

The total package will cost:
£ 348.00 per person which includes 3  rounds of golf (Balcomie Links, Craighead and Ladybank, 2 nights bed and breakfast, single accommodation, dinner in the clubhouse on the Saturday evening and a three course dinner on the Sunday night at the Inn.

For 2 rounds of golf only with no accommodation ( Balcomie Links and Craighead) the price is £149.00 per person. There would be an extra cost for dinner on the Sunday for those not staying at the Inn.


Please note there is an additional fee £ 20.00 for Free members.
