TEEforeTWO.co.uk, is an online dating and social networking community for people who love to play golf. It is the brainchild of single golfers Janet Rampton and Michael Rayment.
"We met each other playing golf and really enjoyed each other's company," said Michael. "Thereafter, the ice having been broken, it was just very easy to move on and we found we had many other interests in common too. It seemed such a simple idea to try to create a forum whereby golfers can look for new partners and straight away they have something in common... the love of golf. It is also a great, and safe, environment to meet new people."
"We believe that golf is about lifestyle; food, wine, travel, a general quality of life and someone to share it with," said Janet. That is why TEEforeTWO aims to be a community that is more than just golf.
Janet was brought up in the Far East, living in Hong Kong for many years, and has lived in Switzerland and the South of France. A golfer since the tender age of six, she is now based in London and plays golf whenever possible, when she’s not busy developing the TEEforeTWO website.
Michael’s career in the wine industry spans over 40 years but more recently he has been able to combine his love of wine with his other passion, golf. Most recently he managed a leading Australian wine brand’s sponsorship of The European Seniors Tour. Over the years Michael, now based in Hampshire, has played golf all over the world during his travels to some of more unusual locations for vineyards including Lebanon and Zimbabwe.
Although it is only in its infancy, TEEforeTWO has already attracted hundreds of members from all regions of the UK and Ireland.
